On 3.09.2018 our training team welcomed 19 new trainees to RECK. The number of new apprentices has risen sharply compared to last year. RECK trains a total of 39 young people in eight training occupations and two students in two study courses at the locations Betzenweiler and Dürmentingen. For decades, training has been a high priority in our second-generation family business. Our philosophy is to qualify and develop tomorrow's employees in our own company. This is a worthwhile investment for both sides for a secure future!

After a serious accident, during a parachute jump with her wingsuit, Susanne Böhme sits paraplegic in a wheelchair. But as with all the challenges in her life so far, she remembers her motto "There is nothing impossible". Susanne begins with therapeutic movement training and recognizes during the movement at MOTOmed that, despite the opposite prognosis, there is still residual strength present in her legs. Today she practices her first free steps and continues to train diligently with her MOTOmed. An ARD german television team accompanied Susanne Böhme on her way and delivers great pictures of an impressive woman.

Samuel Koch has been paraplegic since his accident at a German-language entertainment television Show: "Wetten, dass...?" in 2010. In the meantime it is possible for him to steer his arms by the strength of his shoulders and thus to operate his electric wheelchair or mobile phone. Samuel Koch is supported by the MOTOmed viva2 in his daily movement training.

Due to the 60th anniversary in 2017 RECK awarded sixty donations in health sector, social care, nature protection and culture. For this reason, the department of neurology at Biberach’s Sana Clinic received a donation in kind. On 5 March 2018 Thorsten Banzhaf, regional manager of RECK Germany Medical, handed over a MOTOmed viva1 to Dr. Michael Sabolek, chief physician, and Melanie Bischofberger, head nurse, to support the motor-assisted movement therapy.

In several rehab facilities, hospitals and specialist clinics from Lombardy and Emilia Romagna RECK hosted product demonstrations with MOTOmed muvi and MOTOmed letto2_legs/arms. Within these demonstrations, the focus was on the simultaneous function of MOTOmed muvi, the benefit of the whole-body therapy as well as the possibility for an early mobilization for patients in intensive care units.
