MOTOmed at Integra 2022

After a 4-year break from the fair, the Integra Health Fair was held again in Wels from 8 to 10 June 2022. The trade fair stands for a better quality of life and offers a comprehensive product and service platform for the areas of rehabilitation, therapy, care, sports, but also for accessibility, mobility, leisure and travel. With 10,000 visitors, the exhibition of assistive devices was a great success for all those interested in the health and social sector.

Training? Be a RECK!

As one of 130 exhibiting companies, RECK MOTOmed presented itself at the Future4you training fair, which was able to take place on site again after a three-year break due to corona. What is an apprenticeship at RECK like? Around 2,000 interested people were able to get a comprehensive picture of this.

IRMA - International Rehabilitation and Mobility Fair

The International Rehab, Travel and Mobility Show was all about the latest developments in the rehab market from 5 to 7 May 2022.

Marion Koch helps refugees with disabilities from Ukraine – MOTOmed provides three movement therapy devices.

At the beginning of March, Marion Koch, the mother of Samuel Koch, spontaneously went to Ukraine with a team of helpers to help 33 people escape from the war zone, among them many with disabilities. They were on the road with five cars and two large buses for transporting people with disabilities. 

Heartfelt Christmas time - Win and do good

Among other gifts, RECK employees received a greeting envelope under the Christmas tree together with a ticket from this year's Aktion Mensch lottery. With the money from the lottery, Aktion Mensch supports projects for people with disabilities, children and young people. When activating the respective lottery ticket, the contribution can be allocated to individual projects. It is always interesting to see what people are personally passionate about. There is plenty of time all year round to discuss and share ideas about this – and there is always the thrill of finding out who will be lucky this year...

Christmas is coming

Slowly, but surely - with the beginning of December, and the weather getting colder and colder - it can no longer be denied ... in a few days it will be Christmas! And of course, what cannot be missing at this atmospheric time of year? A Christmas tree!

Virtual exhibition stand at the European Congress for Neurorehabilitation 2021

In a virtual setting, ECNR 2021 spans a wide arc under the motto: "Neurorehabilitation – yesterday, today and tomorrow". Topics ranging from the origins of neurorehabilitation to current promising developments to yet unimaginable perspectives in the future will be debated.

"MOTOmed does medical trade fair MEDICA 2021“

Taking place in Düsseldorf from 15 to 18 November 2021, the international medical trade fair MEDICA, which attracts 100,000 visitors every year, is the largest of its kind with over 5,000 exhibitors. This year, the world's leading trade fair for medical devices, electromedicine, laboratory technology, diagnostics, physiotherapy, orthopedic technology, and medical supplies is designed as a hybrid event. Accompanying the trade show, many forums and conferences will be held online.

Virtually there: 10th Annual Johns Hopkins Critical Care Rehabilitation Conference (CCRC)

Like last year, RECK MOTOmed will participate in the Virtual Congress of the Johns Hopkins University from 21 October – 15 December 2021. The conference provides exchange and education for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, intensive care physicians, respiratory therapists, nurses and psychologists.

Three-time football world champion Pelé has reported from the intensive care unit of the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paulo after having a tumor removed from his colon.

Start of training at RECK

1 September 2021. An ordinary working day for employees of RECK-Technik GmbH & Co. KG, but a special day for the seven new trainees – including industrial clerks, IT specialist, technical product designer, industrial mechanic and electronics technician – who started their training that day.

"MOTOmed does REHACARE 2021"

REHACARE, originally scheduled for 6-9 October 2021, has been canceled for this year. The world's leading trade fair for rehabilitation and care is held annually in Düsseldorf. Most recently at the 2019 trade fair more than 750 exhibitors from over 40 countries were present. Last year, the trade show was held as a digital exhibition show. The next REHACARE in Düsseldorf is scheduled for 14-17 September 2022.

The Department of Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Pain Management at the Dr. Negrín University Hospital in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria uses the MOTOmed letto2 for early mobilization of intensive care patients.

Carnival 2021

"There is no carnival this year, but delicious carnival pastries in a bag".

Carnival is different this year: All parades and cherished carnival traditions have been canceled due to the Corona pandemic. Nevertheless, in order to provide some carnival cheer, the management distributed carnival pastries and an FFP2 mask to all employees on carnival Thursday - at a distance, of course. These baked, wonderfully fragrant and delicious pastries are a tradition and belong to carnival like the costume to the carnival fool.
