Together outside – All year around

RECK-Technik donated 10.000 Euros to the St. Clemens kindergarten in Betzenweiler for the acquisition of 5 bench-table combinations, so that all of the 40 kindergarten children have a place outside for eating, drinking, painting, weaving and playing all year round.

The symbolic handover ceremony of the check, for the previously donated all-weather table and bench combinations, occurred on the 5th of November. Christine Reck was greeted in the kindergarten with the song “Einfach Spitze, dass du da bist” ("simply great that you’re here"). As a child, Christine Reck spent a lot of her time there, and as a result, has a special connection to the St. Clemens Kindergarten. It was a different time, when coming out, meeting other children and playing in the garden was still a very important part of a child’s life.

The check presentation was happily and lively celebrated outside with pretzels and punch at the new outdoor furniture. On this occasion the children gave Christine Reck a, self-designed, lamp shade for fluorescent lights and sang the song "Ins Wasser fällt ein Stein" ("A stone falls into the water"). With this generous donation, Christine Reck symbolically became a stone that changed life in the garden forever.

Christine Reck still had two more surprises for the children: on the last day of November all of the children from the kindergarten were invited to the traditional Christmas tree planting on the company premises in Betzenweiler and in spring 2020 they can experience an exciting company tour at RECK.
