St. Nicholas Day has a long-standing tradition at RECK. Every year on the first working day after December 6th, all employees in Betzenweiler and Dürmentingen receive a freshly baked yeast St. Nicholas pastry.

Movement Therapy Study with the MOTOmed muvi in Geriatrics

The main objective of this study was to investigate the effects of a 6-week intervention on health-related outcomes (body composition, hemodynamic and functional changes) in 24 individuals aged 65 years and older with multimorbidity. 

New Movement Therapy Study with the MOTOmed muvi for Stroke

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of movement therapy combining visual feedback with conventional therapeutic measures in patients with hemiplegia caused by a stroke.  

New Movement Therapy Study with the MOTOmed loop edition for Cerebral Palsy

The primary goal was to measure the feasibility of the intervention of a motor-assisted movement therapy. This was evaluated using the parameters: attitude toward training, retention, adherence, acceptance, practicality and safety.

One million euros for the endowed chair in neurorehabilitation

On 19 November 2024, a pioneering initiative was presented at the Burgau Therapy Center: The newly created endowed chair for neurorehabilitation at the Medical Faculty of the University of Augsburg. With the support of RECK-Technik GmbH & Co. KG, which is initially making a generous donation of 1 million euros for the next five years, this professorship will build a bridge between science, clinical care and medical technology.

Successful trade fair days at Medica 2024 in Düsseldorf

Medica took place in Düsseldorf from 18 to 21 November 2024. Once again this year, MOTOmed was represented at the world's leading trade fair for medical technology and the healthcare industry with an eye-catching stand, the tried-and-tested MOTOmed movement therapy devices and a highly motivated team - and the outcome was positive all round.
