Circulatory Disorders (in the legs)

Painfree legs

Vessels often lose their elasticity with increased age. A frequent effect are blood circulation disorders in the legs. Affected people can activate their blood circulation effectively by training actively and passively with the MOTOmed Movement Therapy device.

Regular movement can help the body to widen small vessels or to originate new ones. So-called collateral circulations develop whereby the exchange of blood, nutrient and oxygen within the legs can improve. With the MOTOmed ankle joint control (accessory) users can bend and stretch their feet. This activates the calf muscle pump and blood circulation disorders in the legs can be reduced. Ideally, continuous movement with the MOTOmed movement therapy device counteracts a diabetic foot syndrome.
