RECK Group invests over 20 million Euros
The RECK Group announces three significant investments totaling over 20 million Euros at three different locations. These investments are part of the company's continuous innovative strength, which has been characterized by curiosity, inspiration, courage and openness for over 60 years.
With the current construction projects industrial hall R10 in Dürmentingen and industrial building R3 in Betzenweiler, the RECK Group is expanding its operating space by 24 % to almost 28,000 square meters.
To offer an open structure for future challenges and to set the course for a sustainable family business, the RECK Group has diversified over the past two years by founding additional companies. These include:
RECK-Trading: Trading platform for the expansion of digital services.
RECK-Kapitalfonds: Support of scientific research and cultural projects, including the funding of a new chair for neurorehabilitation in Bavaria with 1 million Euros.
RECK-Besitzgesellschaft: Responsible for the automation of RECK-Technik and client of the R10 and R3 projects.
ID-Wohnen: Development and implementation of structural open spaces and their constructional realization.
Research, development, production, marketing and sales of the two product divisions medical and agricultural technology operate - in RECK-Technik - and generate a correspondingly good margin along the extensive value chain.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, energy shortages and rising material costs, digital transformation remains a central pillar at RECK. Sensors, robotics and software programs have been integral components of MOTOmed movement therapy devices for years. The company is currently participating in a research project for telemedicine. RECK is the only German company to combine the specially developed myMOTOmed professional app with its movement therapy devices and thus offer monitoring as a healthcare service.
The “Green Deal” is firmly anchored in RECK's corporate philosophy. Since 2010, the company has been relying on geothermal energy and is aiming to achieve 66 % self-sufficiency in its energy supply by expanding its photovoltaic systems.
These investments are a clear commitment to Upper Swabia, Europe and “Made in Germany”. RECK remains committed to its worldwide customers with the high-quality standards of its diverse products.
“Constantly rediscovering ourselves and our future, changing perspectives, creating, understanding connections and remaining curious... That is RECK - that is US. We employees are people who love what we do. We are passionate about our products and our customers,” said Carla Frank (RECK-Technik) in her speech at the ground-breaking ceremony.
