IDA's – Identitätsstiftende Ausgedinghäuser
RECK Holding promotes village life with the new identity-creating move-out houses in Betzenweiler
At the beginning of June, an innovative residential project was officially opened in Betzenweiler, the headquarters of the RECK Group. The “IDA's” project comprises of five residential buildings with nine residential units and offers space for 30 residents. A mini-community of solidarity for senior citizens, singles, couples and families can grow here.
IDA's stands for “Identitätsstiftende Ausgedinghäuser” (identity-creating move-out houses). The “Ausgedinghaus” (move-out house) was a home for old farmers and made it possible for young farmers to move into the main building - a generational contract that we are building on.
The inauguration was attended by invited guests such as District Administrator Mario Glaser, the mayor of Betzenweiler, Tobias Wäscher, and the mayor of Dürmentingen, Dietmar Holstein. Father Alfred Tönnies, parish priest of Bussen, who gave his blessing to the housing project, and Hannelore Vogel, head of the senior citizens meeting club in Betzenweiler, were also present. After a speech by Hendrik Maria Reck, the opening ribbon was symbolically cut by those present.
Each apartment has its own front door, an outdoor room, a veloport and space for your car in the carport. Benches in front of the houses invite people to chat and promote neighborly relations. The residences can be rented from ID Wohnen.
The focus is on sustainability: IDA's relies on solar energy, heat pumps and resource-conserving land use. Rainwater is stored on green roofs and the building materials are extremely durable, repairable and can be reused or recycled after use.
An intergenerational housing model that closes social and spatial gaps - a real added value for the community and not least an expression of the RECK Group's social commitment to society.
